Kyohei Inukai (born 1886)
American painter
Kyohei Inukai (1886-1954) was a Japanese-American artist who painted portraits and watercolors during the early part of the twentieth century.
Biography
Inuaki was born in Okayama, Japan in 1886. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 14, and trained as an artist at the Art Institute of Chicago. He married Lucene Goodenow and had three sons with her, including a son named Eugene Goodenow (better known as Kyohei Inukai).
