          Guillermo Ochoa was born on July 13, 1985, in Guadalajara, Mexico.

          From a young age, he played football and caught the attention of professional Mexican clubs. In 2004, at the age of 18, Ochoa joined the popular Club América, where he quickly found a place in the team's starting lineup, replacing the veteran goalkeeper Adolfo Ríos.

          He remained with the team until 2011, playing in all the important matches.
