Francis Asbury Tarkenton (born February 3, 1940), nicknamed "the Scrambler", is an American former professional footballquarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons, primarily with the Minnesota Vikings.
He is widely regarded as the first great dual-threat quarterback in the NFL.[1][2]
